One Week On

It's officially the 7th here, which is hard to believe. STYGIAN Issue 01 is still in production. I have one story and one art piece to finish before the front matter of the zine can be called 'done'. I wanted to have the front section done before today, but I have several hours yet before the day's out, so I may still manage it.
It's been hard to find a good balance of work to include in the first issue, honestly. I'm having to do a lot of new things and then decide what goes where, not just in terms of layout, but in terms of hype as well. I always want to do so much and sometimes there just isn't time (lol). I'm taking it section-by-section though so there should be a good mix of short stories, nonfiction articles, poems, art pieces, etc.
This is also kind of a 'get to know me' edition/issue, being the first of its kind and all, so that's skewing things a bit as well. But hey, should be fun ^w^
I'm still kicking around what to charge for this one... I'm leaning toward a 'pay-what-you-want' style thing at the moment, since it's such a new thing. I don't think I'd be comfortable charging full price just yet, when people don't have an expectation of what they're getting.
Anyway... I'm sure I'll figure it out. For now though, I'll leave you to it, loves~ Feel free to come hang out on Twitter if you'd like!
